Join us for the community picnic where we’ll draw the winning number
Getting there:
To get to Bruny Island you will need to jump on the SeaLink Bruny Island Ferry which departs from Kettering ferry terminal and drops you on the island approximately 20min later.
From here It’s a 35m drive down to Hanssons Beach or a 25min drive to the Neck Reserve Camping Area.
To see ferry prices, bookings, times etc please visit the SeaLink site: https://www.sealink.com.au/bruny-island/
The last time I looked a return fair cost $55.80 to take a car <6m long.
From the SeaLink website “Please note: Your ticket is not for a specific departure date or time. SeaLink Bruny Island ferry operates on a queueing system.”
There is lots to do and see on the island so we recommend making a weekend out of it and checking out the sites and supporting our local businesses before or after the dive.

A few reminders:
**We highly encourage taking a freediving course with us to learn how to freedive safely and proficiently.**
• This is a free, casual meet-up, not a formal course, so please ensure you’re comfortable to look after yourself and always buddy up (you can find a buddy during the pre dive chat if you come alone).
• Conditions may change - check the facebook discussion tab for weather/location updates
• We highly encourage car pooling to these events so we don't over crowd areas. Keep your eye on the Facebook discussion for a car pooling thread.
• Note: The only thing we take at social dives are photos, so please no harvesting of abalone, fish, or crayfish.
Don't have snorkel or freedive gear? Get in touch now to arrange hire options.
Please send us a message if you have any questions or if you’re keen to donate a lucky door prize to the next event.
