A 4 hour boat dive experience on Tassie’s iconic Tasman Peninsula where the historic Port Arthurs convict settlement meets the tallest seaside cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere.

Join us for an unforgettable ocean adventure departing from Eaglehawk Neck on Tasmania’s iconic Tasman Peninsula. This incredible stretch of coastline is full of adventure and hosts some of Tasmania’s most spectacular marine environments - from dramatic sea caves and coastal waterfalls to friendly fur seals.

Purpose-Built Dive Boats

The 7.2 m RIBs are designed for Tasmanian waters - safe, stable, and comfortable in all conditions.

Eaglehawk Neck Boat Dive

Duration: 4 hours on the boat (4.5 hours total)

Meeting Time: 7:45am for morning dive or 11:45am for afternoon dive

Location: Eaglehawk Neck or Port Arthur Boat Ramp

Choose Your Adventure:

  1. Fun Dive / Line Training

  2. Freedive or Snorkel Tour

  3. Complete the second half of your PADI Freediver course

What You can Experience:

  • Swim with friendly Fur Seals, Weedy Sea Dragons or in giant sea caves or beneath towering waterfalls

  • Spot Whales, Dolphins and a range of Tasmanian Sea Birds

What's Included:

  • In water certified Freedive Instructor/ guide

  • Experienced and qualified boat crew

  • Dive site selection based on weather and experience level

  • Line Training - depth dependent on certification level

What to Bring:

  • Fins, weight belt, mask and snorkel

  • Wetsuit with hood (5mm open cell recommended for Tassie waters)

  • Wetsuit gloves and socks

  • Wrist lanyard (if line training)

  • Towel and warm change of clothes for after the dive

  • Reusable water bottle and light snacks

  • Small dry bag (vessel is a wet-deck RIB)

  • Hat or beanie

  • Sunglasses

  • Seasickness medication (if needed)

  • 18+ years of age

Medical Clearance:

  • Be medically fit to dive

  • Download mandatory documents here

Trips require a minimum of four divers to run (solo divers welcome)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, as long as you're a confident swimmer and comfortable in the water. Your guide will brief you on techniques and stay with you throughout.

  • We recommend a 5mm open cell wetsuit with hood, gloves, and socks for Tassie's waters.

  • We can help you organise a complete set of gear or individual items that you might need

  • We'll reschedule to a day with suitable conditions. Safety and comes first.

  • No, line setup is provided. Just bring your personal diving gear.
