World Class Dive Sites

Explore some of Tasmania’s most spectacular dive sites, where dramatic coastlines, thriving marine life, and wild ocean landscapes create unforgettable experiences.

Purpose-Built Dive Boats

The 7.2 m RIBs are designed for diving in Tasmanian waters - safe, stable, and comfortable in all conditions.

Eaglehawk Neck

What You can Experience:

  • Swim with friendly Fur Seals, Weedy Sea Dragons and Whales

  • Waterfall Bay, Deep Glen Bay, Port Arthur, The Hippolyte

  • Sheer walls and boulder gardens teeming with reef fish. Sheltered with excellent visibility. Giant sea caves & a towering waterfall

Duration: 4 hours on the boat

Meeting Time: 7:30am for morning dive or 11:30am for afternoon dive

Location: Pirates Bay or Garden Point Boat Ramp


Sloping Island Giant Kelp Forest

What You can Experience:

  • Explore the giant kelp forest

  • Swim with friendly Seals in our favourite Australian Fur Seal colony!

  • Seahorses, schooling fish, and colourful invertebrates. One of the few Giant Kelp Forests left diveable close to Hobart/Tasman Peninsula.

Duration: 4 hours on the boat


Maria Island

What You can Experience:

  • Beautiful reefs and bommies with abundant fish life and excellent visibility.

  • Excellent lobster, abalone, and scallop diving along the expansive coast.

  • Join a scallop harvesting dive

Duration: 6 hours on the boat


Partridge Island

What You can Experience:

  • One of Tasmania’s largest remaining giant kelp forests

  • Swim with friendly Australian Fur Seals

  • Explore the southern end of Bruny Island and the wide variety of marine life

Duration: 4 hours on the boat


What's Included:

  • In water certified Freedive Instructor/ guide

  • Experienced and qualified boat crew

  • Dive site selection based on weather and experience level

  • Line Training - depth dependent on certification level

  • Fun Diving - explore Tassie’s best dives sites with your buddy

  • Snorkel Tour for non certified freedivers (no weight belt allowed)

What to Bring:

  • Fins, weight belt, mask and snorkel

  • Wetsuit with hood (minimum 2 piece, 5mm, open cell recommended)

  • Wetsuit gloves and socks

  • Wrist lanyard (if line training)

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Light snacks & warm drink (optional)

  • Small dry bag (vessel is a wet-deck RIB)

  • Warm / waterproof jacket

  • Hat or beanie

  • Sunglasses

  • Seasickness medication (if needed)

  • Towel and warm change of clothes for after the dive

Requirements to Join if Freediving:

  • Minimum PADI Level 1 Freediver (or equivalent), OR

  • Be currently undertaking a freediving course

Age Requirement:

  • 18+ years of age

Medical Clearance:

  • Be medically fit to dive

  • Download required documents here

Trips require a minimum of four divers to run (solo divers welcome)
