This comprehensive 3-day course is ran by our partner Marlon Quinn and designed to level up your freediving through a combination of theory, pool and ocean sessions. You'll expand upon your Level 2 skills, safety knowledge, and confidence to hold your breath longer & dive deeper.
What is Level 3 Master Freediver?
What You’ll Learn
Static & Dynamic Apnea
Introduction to no-fins, statics and dynamic training. Comfortably dive 50m in DYNB and 35m in DNF & hold your breath for 2’30”.
Equalisation & Depth
Perform reverse packing and an improved Frenzel technique. Dive comfortably to 24 - 30m in FIM and CWTB & 15m in CNF.
Safety & Rescue
Learn comprehensive buddy procedures, Safety & Rescue freedivers from 10 - 15m of depth & self rescue from 10m with no mask.
Theory & Physiology
Have a deeper knowledge of freediving physics, understand and perform mental training and mindfulness techniques.

Your Certification Goals
By the end of this course, you'll be able to:
Dive comfortably to 24 - 30m in FIM and CWTB
Dive 15m in CNF confidently
Comfortably hold your breath for 2’30”
Dive 50m in DYNB and 35m in DNF comfortably
Safety & Rescue freedivers from 10 - 15m of depth
10m no mask self rescue
Freefall 4m minimum
This certification is recognised worldwide and is transferable between agencies like Molchanovs, SSI & AIDA
What to Bring:
Fins, mask and snorkel & optional nose clip
Wetsuit with hood (minimum 2 piece, 5mm, open cell recommended for Tassie waters)
Weight belt/ weights
Wetsuit gloves and socks
Towel and warm change of clothes
Reusable water bottle and optional snacks
Yoga mat or towel for Breath Work Session

Who Can Join
Physical Requirements:
Able to swim 200 meters confidently
Age Requirement:
18+ years of age
Medical Clearance:
Complete a medical check
Medical clearance required if any conditions are flagged
Experience Level:
PADI Advanced Freediver (Level 2) or equivalent

Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable, we'll reschedule the ocean session to another day that works for you and the group.

Completely normal. We progress gradually and never push you beyond your comfort zone. This Course is the start of you journey to greater depths, not the end.

No, hire gear is available through our partner store Go Dive. If you need to rent gear, please contact them in advance to arrange.

Level 3 Master Freediver builds upon your Level 2 skills and teaches new techniques to dive deeper and longer up to 40m.

Not yet. Join our Level 1 Freediver Course to learn the ropes and progress to level 2 & 3 when you’re comfortable.

We work with each student individually. Most people achieve the requirements with proper instruction, but if you need more time, you can book additional training for specific course requirements within 12 months.

This is completely normal. Freedive progression should be done gently and slowly. You can join our Pool and Ocean Freedive Training Sesisons to practice your skills while preparing for the course in a safe and controlled environment.
